What is DMARC?+

DMARC tells receivers what to do with mail that fails SPF and DKIM alignment for your domain, and where to send aggregate reports about it.

What is a good DMARC record to start with?+

v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.com — then move to p=quarantine and p=reject once reports show all legitimate senders pass.

Does DMARC need SPF and DKIM?+

Yes. DMARC passes only when SPF or DKIM passes and the domain aligns with the visible From address.
